IT Support Technician

As an IT Support Technician, I provided comprehensive technical assistance and troubleshooting support for Indiana University students and faculty, covering hardware and software issues on Mac, PC, and mobile platforms. Additionally, I played a key role in the development and improvement of knowledge base articles, overseeing a project that revamped our department's internal knowledge base. I also contributed to the planning and execution of IT projects.

I'm a proud Hoosier turned Pacific Northwesterner, originally hailing from the scenic landscapes of southern Indiana near Louisville, KY. In December 2019, I graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in English. With dreams of teaching abroad, my plans took an unexpected turn due to the global challenges brought about by Covid-19.
In the summer of 2021, I embarked on a new adventure and relocated to the beautiful city of Tacoma, WA. There, I joined Amazon Fulfillment for some time. Although it was a detour career-wise, I was eager to expand my preferred skill set so I pursued a degree in General Studies of Information Technology while working at Amazon. Additionally, I earned a CompTIA A+ certificate, solidifying my commitment to the dynamic field of IT. Currently, I am on the lookout for opportunities in IT support, with my sights set on progressing towards a role as a network or systems administrator within the next three to five years.
Away from the screen, I share my space with Azula, my feline companion, and my partner, adding warmth and joy to my everyday life. When I'm not navigating the intricacies of IT, you can find me at the gym, keeping both mind and body in balance, or immersed in the captivating worlds of video games.
